Crewe Alexandra Progress Into Youth Cup 3rd Round
The Crewe Alexandra youth side booked themselves a FA Youth Cup 3rd Round game at Arsenal with a 2-1 win over Bradford today.
Despite going 1-0 down early on in the game the young Alex side fought back with defender Cheyenne Dunkley equalising things before half time.
Both sides put on a good show but it took extra time before the two were separated with defender Harry Davis, son of assistant boss Steve Davis, grabbing the winner.
The youngsters now face a mouthwatering tie against Arsenal, last season's Youth Cup winners. The game will take place at Barnet's Underhill Stadium on December 16th, four days after the first team visit.
