Crewe Announce Retain List

Crewe have announced which players have been offered new deals, as well as those who will be released. In total, 9 players have been released. Perhaps the most high profile departures are that of Anthony Tonkin and Richard Walker. Furthermore, Justin Cochrane, Steve Jones, Adie Moses, Kyle Wilson, Andrew Bond and Alex Morris will not be offered contracts. Dario has said, however, that Steve Jones will be offered a new deal should he change his mind about leaving.

The club have, however, offered 10 players new deals at the club. On loan strikers Eddie Johnson and Gareth Taylor who look set to leave their clubs this summer. The club will also offer deals to Kenny Lunt, Steve Foster and Madjid Bougherra, despite reports linking the trio with a move. Tony Grant has been offered a new deal, whilst Chris McCready has generously been given a new two year deal. Ben Williams, Rob Lloyd, Ritchie Sutton and Paul Bignot have also been offered new deals.
