Zola Up For Second October Award

Calvin Zola could make it a clean sweep and claim his second player of the month award tomorrow morning.

The big Congo striker has been nominated for the Coca Cola League Two Player of the Month award. This being slightly different to his PFA Player of the Month award which was voted for by League Two fans.

His competition includes Notts County keeper Kasper Schmeichel (who had a stormer against us!), Rochdale striker Chris Dagnall and Drew Talbot of Rochdale. But in a month where Calvin rose to the top of the goalscoring charts he surely has to be favourite for the award?

The winner will be announced tomorrow morning (Saturday) on Soccer AM which aires on Sky Sports 1 and Sky One at 9:00am.

It would be nothing less than Calvin deserves and let's hope there's a couple more on their way for November next month!
