Button Returns To Spurs

Button Returns To Spurs

Goalkeeper David Button has returned to Tottenham after being recalled by the London club.

The current Alex number one has returned to cover for tonight's Carling Cup game against Everton at White Heart Lane.

Button has managed ten games in his time at Gresty Road, conceding 15 goals. In August he was recalled by Spurs for a week where he played in their 5-1 win over Doncaster in the Carling Cup.

It leaves the door open for one of Steve Collis, Adam Legzdins or new recruit Bertrand Bossu to stake their claim for the number one shirt.
