Zola Could Feature On Saturday?

The club have confirmed Calvin Zola's injury as a groin strain but early are signs are good.

The Congo striker limped off after 40 minutes of Saturday's derby game against Vale and whilst there were fears Zola could be facing a lengthy spell on the sidelines it seems Calvin could yet feature in this Saturday's game at Notts County.

Physio Rob Sharp told the official website (crewealex.net) that whilst Zola does have a groin strain there are hopes he will resume training mid-week.

'There are good early signs and we will assess him again in the middle of the week to see if he will be fit enough to be available for the weekend. He won't train again until then and will continue to have treatment.'
