Fingers Crossed On Zola Fitness

Dario will be keeping his fingers crossed on the fitness of Calvin Zola who hobbled off during yesterday's defeat to Vale.

The Congo striker went down 10 minutes before half time with what seemed to be a groin injury. Whilst it seemed to be nothing more than a strain at first reports have since suggested foul play from the Vale player Zola was in a tussle with - no change there then.

It would be more promising should it turn out to be nothing more than a knock (or elbow) to Calvin with a groin strain offering a much more lengthy lay off.

A simple knock could, or should see Zola back in training before next week's match at money bags Notts County.

It'd be a boost to see him in the side come Saturday after excelling this season. His 10 goals in 15 games this season has been about the only chink of light in this very gloomy season so far.
