Leeds Trip For Alex Youth

Crewe Alexandra Under 18s will visit Leeds United for the opening round of the FA Youth Cup.

The first round tie will, according to The FA website, take place at Elland Road on 2nd November kicking off at 7:00pm.

Last season the Alex were knocked out in the Fourth Round of the competition by Birmingham City. After dispatching Bury, Stockport and Carlisle in the first three rounds a 3-2 defeat at St Andrews ended the youngsters dream.

Leeds meanwhile fell at the third round to eventual finalists Liverpool. However, it was Arsenal who won the cup - beating the Scousers 6-2 over two legs in the final.
