Reserves Fall To Villa Defeat
A Crewe Alex reserve side lost 3-2 to their Aston Villa counterparts this afternoon. Trialist keeper Peter Brezovan played the full 90 minutes as his trial at the club continues.
Villa fielded a strong side with former PSV defender Wilfred Bouma getting a run out for the Premiership outfit.
Loanee Aman Verma and youngster Jason Oswell scored the two Alex goals but we eventually fell to the 3-2 defeat. Thankfully no major injuries came out of the match though Carl Martin and former captain Billy Jones both picked up slight niggles, although neither are thought to be doubts for the weekend.
