Dario To Get As Long As He Wants

Dario looks set to remain manager of Crewe for the forseeable future following the firing of Gudjon Thordarson.

It now seems like that Dario will remain in charge till the end of the season at least with no plans to look for a new long term manager any time soon.

Taking charge for Saturday's 2-3 defeat at home to Rotherham Dario produced a promising display if not the write result. Out with hoof ball and in with the passing game of old only defensive mistakes gifted Rotherham the three points.

Having had a two year break from full-time first team action Dario now feels he's a better manager for it and returns to his old job with a new lease of life.

"It is up to me to show I'm going to be able to improve the players. If you look around you the top managers are in their 60s.

'I'm still fit and energetic and I couldn't resist the temptation to come back. I've made the right decision. I feel that I'm a better manager now than I've ever been because of that experience.'
