Spurs goalkeeper David Button has returned to Crewe on loan, 10 days after his return to London.
The 20 year old originally signed in July on a six month loan, becoming the new Alex number one once the season got under way. However, he was recalled to Tottenham by Harry Redknapp on August 20th after injuries to two of their senior keepers.
Button went on to make his first appearance for Spurs, playing 8 minutes of their Carling Cup win at Doncaster last week, and was later on the bench of last weekend's match against Birmingham.
With injuries clearing at Spurs Button was this afternoon allowed to return to Gresty Road to resume his loan spell and although not included in tonights squad that faced (and lost 1-4 to) Stockport, it does look likely Button will take his place between the sticks for the weekend match against Macclesfield.
