Walton completes loan move
Crewe have completed the loan siginig of Simon Walton from Championship side Plymouth Argyle ahead of Tuesday's transfer deadline.
The midfielder has penned a deal which will take him up to the end of the current season and he will go straight in to the squad to play Stockport on Tuesday night.
Crewe have been chasing Walton for some time and will be delighted to have secured his services on a long term loan.
Walton started his career as a talented youth player at Leeds United, Charlton paid 500,000 for his services in the summer of 2006.
Since then his career has stalled, failing to impress at a whole host of Championship clubs and he has now dropped down to league two to see if he can repair his reputation.
