We asked Skeets from the Vital Hereford site. for his views building up to the clash against The Bulls on Saturday.
How's the start of your season gone, are you happy with two draws?
The 2-2 draw at Morecambe showed character, and our victory over Charlton in the Carling Cup was excellent. However, the squad lacks depth in attack and as a consequence we have very few options up front.
How do you think Hereford have coped with relegation last season?
Initially this looked very bright, with wholesale changes being made, but the jury is out as to whether we can assemble a promotion challenging squad or not. Some quality loan signings could be the answer.
If you had to pick one player for us to look out for in your squad, who would it be and why?
Marc Pugh has caught the eye throughout the summer. Two goals at Morecambe and shows a positive attitude. Can cause all sorts of problems to defences if given plenty of service. Missed the match against Cheltenham due to injury, and didn't quite look fully fit on Tuesday. Hopefully he'll be back flying down the left wing this weekend.
Who do you think will be promoted and relegated this season?
Promoted: Rotherham, Notts County, Northampton, Bury.
Relegated: Accrington Stanley, Macclesfield Town.
Where do you think Hereford will finish this season? What about Crewe?
If the Bulls can bring is some striking talent (sooner rather than later) I'll still with my FourFourTwo prediction in that we'll make a late bid for a play-off place. I have little doubt that Crewe will be in the play-off's come next May.
Finally, what's your prediction for Saturday?
Very much depends on our line up. Are Marc Pugh, Lee Morris, and Leon Constantine fit? Have we signed any additional forwards before Saturday? If not, it could be tough for the Bulls to pose a threat in the final third. So, with a forward line: Crewe 1-1 Hereford, without one Crewe 2-0 Hereford!
