Collis Available For Free

Crewe's number 1 is available for free transfer or loan after falling out of favour with Alex boss Gudjon Thordarson.

Collis signed for Crewe on a free transfer after being released by Southend at the start of last season as a replacement for fans favourite (or maybe not) Ben Williams. He signed a two year deal at Gresty Road and became the first choice for the then manager Steve Holland.

Crewe signed Spurs youngster, Button, on a six month loan deal only a few weeks ago pushing Collis down the pecking order, a strong move by Gudjon who had elected to play Legzdins ahead of the 28 year old.

It was always going to happen though, Collis' agent said as much in the close season if there was no first team opportunity's available.

Lets hope he can get fixed up and start playing again soon.
