Crewe's relegation on Monday means that the remaining two games are of no real consequence. Consequently, Dario may use the games as an opportunity to see how his youngsters would cope. Dario said, 'We will see out the remaining games properly, but we will give one or two a go in the team.'
Tony Grant is likely to miss the rest of the season with a groin injury which will either see Gary Roberts return to the side or Michael O'Connor given first start. Meanwhile, Madjid Bougherra sustained a knock late on against Cardiff though Dario has also warned that unless he indicates that he is willing to stay, Chris McCready may be given a go ahead of the Algerian international to determine his value to the squad. Furthermore, Nicky Maynard has been in and around the squad for some time now so Dario may even give the speedy forward a go ahead of Luke Rodgers.
