Six Quick Questions To A Daggers Fan

Six Quick Questions To A Daggers Fan

With the new season approaching rapidly (only 2 more sleeps), we asked Daggers fan Jimbob for his opinion on a few things.

Well, its been a while since we've been to the depths of League 2, what can we expect?

From League Two you can expect a lot of goals! Some wonderful attacking play and undoubtedly some of the best cuisine the country has to offer.

How has your pre-season gone and have you made any notable signings?

The pre-season has been going better than it did for the past few years, which is certainly looking promising but we must realise that it is only pre-season and not to get too over-excited, everything that has happened in the past month will be washed away come the start of the season. With half of the first team having left during the summer there are many signings that have been made, very few however have had league experience so it will be interesting even for us to see how they get on.

If you had to pick one player for us to look out for in your squad come the 8th of August, who would it be and why?

One player? That's a bit tricky, they're all premiership standard!... Green looks interesting! Likes to run with the ball take people on and certainly makes the game interesting.

Who do you think will be promoted and relegated this season?

I always find it hard to say with this league, we were close to being in the play-offs last season and before the season began there was no way I would've predicted that but... I can imagine Shrewsbury doing quite well. Also Notts County would be expected to do quite well. First place to the daggers obviously though. I don't know about relegation this time around, things aren't looking too good for Darlington.

Where do you think the Daggers will finish this season? What about Crewe?

Daggers definitely top!... Or possibly 12th. Crewe I would imagine being somewhere around the same place.

Finally, what's your prediction for the opening game?

I'm sorry but for the opening game I predict a thrilling 3-2 win to the Daggers.

Thanks again to Jimbob for taking the time to answer the questions, even though he obviously got in a muddle with the last question (we hope).

Hopefully we can turn this into a regular feature throughout the season so let us know if you want anything specific asking to the opposition!
