Crewe Hopeful On Gudmundsson Signing
Gudjon hopes to make Gunnar Mar Gudmundsson his fourth signing of the summer after holding talks with the midfielder.
The 25 year old Icelandic could be set to take the vacant number seven shirt if he agrees to sign.
Described as a goal scoring midfielder, Gudmundsson was linked with a loan move to Gresty Road earlier this year. Currently playing for Icelandic club Fjolnir Reykjavik, the deal could still be a loan move though Gudjon is pushing for a permanent move.
The 6ft 3in Iceman has scored ten goals in just 23 games from midfield for Fjolnir and looks to be the ideal man to partner Mat-Mitchel-King in the centre of midfield.
Should Gudmundsson sign he'd become our fourth signing of the summer, following Mitchel-King and Ada's move from Histon and David Button's loan from Spurs.
