Broomes Open To Offers

Marlon Broomes says he would listen to any offer from crewe after his loan spell last season.

Broomes was one of Gudjon's first signing back in January and soon struck up a relatively successful partnership with fellow loanee Dennis Lawrence.

With his contract running down at Blackpool, Broomes is now a free agent and along with so many others on the look out for a new club. The 31 today hinted that he wasn't looking to League Two for a new club, but admitted that an offer from the Alex may be tempting.

Speaking to The Sentinel, Broomes said:

'I had a good relationship with the manager and I enjoyed my football again.Every player wants to play at the highest level they can but you can never say never.

'I've had no contact with Gujdon at the moment, but my agent has been ringing around and I am weighing up my options.

'I am not prepared to go down south and Crewe is within driving distance of my home.

However, with Dennis Lawrence making the same noises and Gudjon looking elsewhere for a new defence, it would seem that Gudjon may not be as keen on the moves as the duo.
