O'Connor Returns To Gresty Road

Michael O'Connor has finished his loan spell at Lincoln City and returned to the Alex.

The Northern Ireland midfielder was sent packing by Gudjon at the end of February after a huge falling out between the two. A public war of words followed, with O'Connor saying he'll never play under Gudjon again whilst Gudjon said O'Connor could still play for him if he got his head down.

So how the next week at Reaseheath will go is anyone's guess. Whilst there may not be any more fireworks it's likely that O'Connor will simply be counting down the days to his permanent exit from the club, but you never know.

The official site is also reporting O'Connor will be suspended for the next two games after picking up his 10th yellow of the season on Saturday, but with everywhere else saying it was his 9th booking of the season I'm not sure who to believe.
