Sheehan Out For Season

Crewe have been hit by the news on loan defender Alan Sheehan will be out for the remainder of the season.
The left-back, on loan from Leeds United suffered ankle ligament damage in the second half of Crewe's 0-0 draw at Swindon. The injury overshaddowed a fine display from Sheehan, who developed a good partnership with debutant Scott McManus on the left side, with the two combining for Sheehan to set up Danny Woodards for the best chance of the game.
The injury means Billy Jones will return to the side for the must win game at home to Hartlepool next saturday after completing a 3 game suspension after being red carded for foul and abusive language against Sheehan's parent club Leeds last month.
