Sheehan Signs On Loan

Leeds United's Alan Sheehan has signed for the Alex for the rest of the season on loan to cover for the suspended Billy Jones.

The 22 year old full back has previously played 23 games for Leicester City in the Championship, signing for Leeds January 2008 on loan before making the move permanent in the summer.

This season he's made 13 thirteen starts for the Yorkshire club, his last coming in January at home to Carlisle in a 2-0 defeat. Unsurprisingly his disciplinary record at Leeds comes into question with two red cards for two two-footed lunges coming in the last 12 months.

Sheehan looks set to go straight into tomorrow evening's side for the trip to MK Dons, a straight swap for Billy.
