Lawrence To Be Offered Permanent Deal

Lawrence To Be Offered Permanent Deal

Crewe manager Gudjon Thordarson has pretty much confirmed that he is going to offer the giant defender a contract in the summer.

Lawrence, who`s current contract with Swansea expires in the summer, has been a vital part of the Crewe defence over the past few weeks helping us with great success in climbing up the league.

The 35 year old has added some much needed experience to the backline, along with fellow loan signing Broomes, and even showed his dedication to the cause by playing with a face mask at the weekend as he heals from a broken cheekbone.

Gudjon spoke to the official site "We have liked having Dennis here with us and I am sure he has enjoyed himself too. He is good in the dressing room and out on the pitch and his future has been spoken about."

Lawrence has also spoken to the Sentinel saying "I'm enjoying my time at Crewe. The manager and I have spoken and have decided to sit down later in the summer and discuss things to decide what not only is best for me, but best for Crewe as well."

I, like many fans feel that Lawrence is definatly worth a year deal in the summer. Come on Gudjon, sign him up.
