Occy Being Sent To Lincoln?
Michael O'Connor is set to sign for Lincoln City on loan following his spat with Gudjon Thordarson.
After 'sweet-gate' at the weekend Gudjon Thordarson said on Tuesday that Occy is now free to find himself a loan move. Rumours of interest from Wolves, Blackpool and Stockport soon surfaced.
Today however it looks like Occy's best offer has come from mid-table League Two outfit Lincoln City. Also temporary home to Alex striker Anthony Elding, it's reported that the Imps are hoping to tie up a deal soon enough for Occy to play against local rivals Grimsby Town tomorrow.
The news will come as a surprise to most Alex fans who surely see O'Connor as simply too good for League Two, but maybe this is what you get if you fail to clean up on your poor attitude?
