No Place For Occy In The Side

Michael O'Connor won't return to the side for tomorrow's home game against Carlisle Gudjon Thordarson says.

Occy was surprisingly left out of Gudjon's 16 at Brighton, days after playing 90 minutes in the win over Yeovil. Rumours have been afoot over exactly why the Irish midfielder has received yet another cold shoulder from Gudjon but none, as yet, have been confirmed.

The club have simply said 'disciplinary reasons' were why O'Connor played no part on Saturday, whilst Gudjon says he has dealt with the situation his way...

'Michael won't be under consideration for the match tomorrow night. There was an incident but it has been dealt with in my way.'

The news won't come as a major surprise nor will it bother many fans, with most who travelled to Brighton impressed with Occy's replacement Steven Schumacher.
