Unbelievable. Let's just remind ourselves of today's score: Brighton 0-4 Crewe. We are now out of the relegation zone!
It was only a couple of months ago we were reporting on the gap between us and safety stretching to 11 points.
Today was the biggest game of our season so far, and where previously we would have crumbled under pressure we came through shining.
A first half Billy Jones penalty set us on our way before a second half onslaught finished Albion off. A Jones free-kick special was followed by a fantastic long range shot from Schumacher; new signing Gyilf Sigurdsson finished the match off as the clock ticked towards full time.
With Pope and Lawrence ruled out prior to the match and O'Connor sent home for poor discipline the mood wasn't great amongst fans pre-match. How wrong we were and those who travelled saw a fantastic win.
For the first time since September we sit outside the bottom four. In 19th to be exact. Orient lost to Hereford whilst Swindon slipped up at Tranmere. Perfect results.
It's without doubt all down to one man: Gudjon Thordarson. Having now guided us to four league wins in a row for the first time in six years he has the chance to lengthen the gap between us and the bottom four on Tuesday at home to Carlisle. A fifth win in a row would be the first in over 15 years.
It looks like League One manager of the month for February is also in the bag for Gudjon with four wins out of five this month.
Long may Gudjon's reign continue.
Gudjon's red and white army!!
