Crewe to Host European Champions

Crewe to Host European Champions

Crewe have announced that Crewe will take on Liverpool in a pre-season friendly on the 22nd July at 3pm. The two sides met in the summer of 2003 for Shaun Smith and Steve McAuley's testimonials as Crewe held The Reds to a 1-1 draw. Crewe took the lead through David Vaughan before Michael Owen equalised for Liverpool. Crewe had tried to arrange a friendly in the build up to the current campaign, though the club was being used for a wedding on the only day on which the fixture could have been played. Crewe's pre-season is also expected to include fixtures against Wolves and Everton.

Hi Will or any other Crewe supporter... I was just wondering if anybody can help. I edit VITAL QPR and I do a feature on opposition fans before every game. I can't seem to find ANY CREWE fans ANYWHERE? Where are you all? If anyone would like to contribute send me an email and I will send you the questions, thanks in advance, Mark (markohaire@hotmail.co.uk)
