I'd Never Heard Of Walton
Thordarson was bemused at the Simon Walton rumour, saying he'd never heard of him.
It was reported on Saturday by The Sentinel that Walton was set to join the club on loan from Plymouth. Despite more rumours that Walton had actually attended Saturday's 2-1 win against Tranmere it soon came clear that the 21 year old had actually played 90 minutes for Plymouth Argyle.
Thordarson now says that there was so little truth in the rumour that he hadn't even heard of Simon Walton prior to this morning.
Speaking to the official website Gudjon said:
'I had never even heard of Walton until this morning, so there is no truth in that one, there are always names been thrown around, and always people that I am looking at.'
