Scoring Start For Elding

Anthony Elding made a scoring start to his time at League Two Lincoln today. The former Stockport striker fired home The Imps's equaliser just after the hour mark as they drew 2-2 at home to second placed Brentford.

Elding joined Lincoln on a 3 month loan last week but already it looks like we'll be breaking hearts if Gudjon Thordarson opts to use the 24 hour recall option that comes into effect in February.

He has already received rave reviews on the Vital Lincoln message boards for today's performances, with Lincoln minds turning to the possibility of a permanent deal.

For now however it seems likely the move is nothing more than a chance for Elding to prove himself to Thordarson. Having chased his signature for nearly a year before completing the signing in the summer, it would seem unlikely that Dario & the club would be willing to see the 26 year old leave so soon.
