'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Gudjon: We'll beat Millwall, obviously.

Gudjon Thordarson isn't going to beat around the bush, he thinks it's going to be Newcastle vs Crewe in the fourth round.

Thordarson took charge for the first time on Saturday, forcing Millwall to a FA Cup Third Round replay with a 2-2 draw.

He nows believes that the Railwaymen are now in pole position to stroll into the fourth round, where he believes Newcastle await.

Speaking to Radio Stoke, Thordarson said: 'The players will be up for up it. They will look forward to the game and finishing the job we started down there.

'Then they will look forward to going on to face a good side in an environment that is exciting for everybody,'

Before then however is the task of Bristol Rovers on Tuesday night (weather permitting) before another long trip down south to Southend. Still 7 points off safety at the bottom of the table, every point is vital to us.

It doesn't worry Gudjon however, who believes the team is now on the up:

'I honestly believe there is more to come from this team and the players. There is more in their locker and they just have to believe in their ability. It is up to them to deliver
