Hull Q & A

Hull Q & A

How has your season been?
Our season has been worse than expected, but if we stay up many fans will put it on a par with our back to back promotions. We have had a lot of injuries and that has really hindered our season. Don't expect us to be in the same position thoguh next year. We have 1.5 million to spend in the summer, and it will be invested!

Who are your dangermen?
Jon Parkin is our dangerman and gives anyone a battle. Only just arrived in the Championship but for a big man has great skill as well as a very physical presence.

Any weaklinks in the team?
Not too many weaklinks apart from when we sit back and try to defend. Delaney has looked a bit supsect in recent games (our centre-back) but apart from that, the centre of midfield can sometimes be our weak-spot.

What do you know about Crewe Alex?
Don't know too much about Crewe apart from you are a selling team. You have a great youth academy (the likes of Danny Murphy and Dean Ashton) but if you ever kept any of these players you could be a very decent club. Unfortunately for you and your fans, you don't.

How do you think the game will go on Saturday?
I can only see Hull City winning, even if you have picked up form in recent weeks. I think we will be too strong for you at the KC.

A score prediction?
My prediction, as I said in my match report. 3-0 to the Tigers !!

Leading goalscorer Tom Bradshaw opened the visitors' account from the penalty spot after George Cooper handled.

However, in-form Brad Inman replied when Semi Ajayi knocked on David Fox's early second-half free-kick.

Walsall missed early opportunities with Bradshaw thwarted by Ben Garratt before then firing too close to the keeper following another assist fr
