Green Completes Loan Move

Crewe Alexandra have competed the loan signing of Blackpool midfielder Stuart Green.

The former Hull City attacking midfielder signed a loan deal to December 21st and is set to go straight into the side for tomorrow's game against Leyton Orient.

The 27 year old arrives from Blackpool, where he's failed to make an impact since signing from Crystal Palace in February. Green's career started at Newcastle before a loan spell in 2002 led to a £150,000 permanent move on Christmas Eve '02.

He went on to play for Hull over 100 times as they climbed from League Two to the Championship, this leading Crystal Palace to spend £75k for his services. However after just eighteen months at Palace and only 12 starts Green was released to sign for Blackpool, where he's had an equally bad start - making just one start in 9 months.

Green can play either central or on the right wing and is set to make his debut this weekend.
