Crewe Set For Loan Scoop

Steve Holland will hopefully bolster his midfield this week with two loan signings.

The players, both from separate Championship, look set to arrive on an initial one month loan deal. One player is said to be a wide player whilst the other is a central midfielder who can be used on the wing.

Neil Baker told The Sentinel that the midfield isn't the only place they're looking to strengthen: 'We are quite hopeful of completing the deals.

'These are two midfielders, but we have not written off bringing in another defender.'

Meanwhile, Steve Holland says that he's under no pressure to offload fringe players before bring in fresh blood. The first team coach told crewealex.net that some players will just have to fight for their place in the team:

'We have had enquiries about one or two of our players, but we do not have to let them go out on loan if it doesn't suit us. A balancing act is not required and it is up to those who are out of the team to force their way back in.'
