Elding Off To Cherries?

Bournemouth are reportedly interested in Alex outcast Anthony Elding. Bournemouth gaffer and [former] local Crewe man Jimmy Quinn is thought to be looking at Elding to bolster his forward line as the Cherries continue to over come a 17 point deduction.

It's been reported by the Bournemouth Daily Echo and the Daily Mirror that Elding heads Quinn's wish list, with the former Shrewsbury boss keen on a loan deal for Ant.

The Daily Echo reported on Thursday that a deal was close, whilst Elding was nearly left out of yesterday's FA Cup squad... till Holland realised he was allowed to name seven substitutes.

It would however seem unlikely that Elding would make the move. Having kicked up a fuss over not wanting to drop from Leeds' level to ours, it's doubtful that Elding would then drop straight back into League Two.

With games increasingly hard to come by though, and his form failing to improve, he may have no other choice.
