'If It's Football, It's Vital'

'Crewe Deserved The Point'

Posh manager Darren Ferguson spoke to their official site after the one all draw at Gresty Road.

'I have to say Crewe deserved the point and were by far the better side. I thought Joe Lewis, Gabriel Zakuani and Craig Morgan were outstanding and if it wasn't for them we would have been beaten. After the early goal we always needed that second goal, but we didn't deserve it.'

'We didn't play well, our possession retention was very poor and we got a lesson in keeping the ball. Our passing was poor, we wanted to flick it here, there and everywhere and I thought Crewe thoroughly deserved a point. Crewe have been playing well without getting the results, but I felt if we got ahead in the game we would go on and win because their crowd were on the backs of the players.'

'To be fair, their players stuck in there.'
