'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Alex Snippets 22/09/2008

JAMES BAILEY will be given time to prove himself 'fit' before tomorrow's Carling Cup game after the 20 year old was involved in a car accident this morning. Whilst not sustaining any injuries, Bailey is understandably shaken by the experience.

After being checked over by the club's medical staff, Steve Holland will check the midfielder's mental state tomorrow before deciding if he faces Liverpool.

---

CALVIN ZOLA and Michael O'Connor are both expecting the all clear to face Liverpool having picked up slight injuries over the weekend.

Zola was substituted in the second half of the 3-4 defeat to Southend with a tight calf whilst Michael O'Connor has been suffering from blisters.

Both players trained today and are expected to be included in tomorrow night's team.
