Crewe Draw Tranmere In The Paint Trophy
Crewe will play Tranmere away in the 2nd Round of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy.
Having seen off a poor Macclesfield Town side in the first round, the Alex will continue their quest for Wembley at Prenton Park, just a couple of weeks before we are due there in the League.
It's certainly one of the harder draws we could have had but in the JPT the results are so unpredictable - that and we have a 100% record in cup competitions so far.
The game will be played the week commencing October 6th.
