Crewe Draw Liverpool In The Carling Cup
&titlebackCrewe will play Liverpool away in the Carling Cup 3rd Round in the week commencing 22nd September.
A trip to Anfield provides a reward for the team's effort in the previous two rounds, having seen off Championship clubs Barnsley and Bristol City.
It'll be our first competitive match again Liverpool since 1992, when the Alex were soundly beaten 4-0 in the FA Cup.
Ticket allocation and prices are as yet unknown whilst I'm sure the club will be hoping to receive a call from Sky Sports in regards to showing the game live!
