'If It's Football, It's Vital'

"This Is A Disaster"

"This Is A Disaster" are the words spoken by Barnsley manager Simon Davey after his club were booted out of the Carling Cup by Crewe.

Simon Davey spoke to Barnsley`s official website after his teams 2-0 defeat at Gresty Road. He said "'We are very disappointed tonight. We had enough chances to finish three games but if you don't take them then you get punished. That was not good enough. We have to take those chances."

"I have no doubts about the penalties. They were both penalties and to go out at this stage is a disaster. We did not play well in the first half but were better and there was only one team in it after the break. The damage was done in that first half really and we should have put our chances away."

"We are looking forward now and want to put this behind us with all three points on Saturday. This is a disaster and we are all very disappointed. We had a lot of fans here tonight and we are all disappointed for them".
