Vaughan Becomes A Tangerine

Former Alex left winger David Vaughan has completed a move to Blackpool.

The Welsh left-footer completed a £200,000 move to Blackpool after only completing a year at Spanish club Real Sociedad. The deal will keep Vaughan at Bloomfield Road for 2 years with an option of an additional year if he impresses.

The 25 year old moved to the Spanish club last summer in a £300,000 move that saw him team up with fellow Welshman and former Fulham manager Chris Coleman. This was seen as a good move for Vaughan as it would help him to push on to become a regular Welsh international.

However, Coleman resigned in January and took up the position of manager at Coventry City, leaving Vaughan out in Spain and wanting a move back to England.

Vaughan should go straight into the starting 11 for Blackpool with Wes Hoolahan moving on to Norwich City in June.
