Former Fans Favourite Set To Face The Alex?

Former fans favourite Rodney Jack could be set to face the Alex in our pre-season friendly against Nantwich Town tonight.

The veteran striker could play a part for Nantwich Town as he looks to win a contract with the UniBond League Premier Division club after spending the last few weeks training with them.

Jack had 2 spells in with the club, the first starting in 1998, where he signed for the clubs record fee of 650,000 and ending in 2003 and the second period being between 2006 and 2007.

A reserve Alex team will travel to Newcastle tonight for the game with Nantwich`s pitch not being ready for the start of the season. The game kicks off at 7:30pm

Let`s keep our fingers crossed that Rodney can play himself into the Nantwich team next season.
