Quick Wednesday Round Up

The Nantwich Town friendly has switched venue whilst a Alex side collapse in a friendly at Man City....

The Nantwich Town friendly, pencilled in for Monday 4th August (7:30pm kick off), will now be played at Newcastle Town's Lyme Valley Stadium. Having recently had their pitch re-seeded, Nantwich are looking for more time for their pitch to bed in before the start of the league season.

Meanwhile a weak Alex side played a behind closed doors friendly with Manchester City at City's Carrington training ground this afternoon. A strong City side came out 4-1 winners having led 3-0 at half time. Byron Moore netted the only goal for Crewe. The side that ran out for Crewe was: Legzdins, Danville, McCready, O'Donnell, Westwood, Carrington, Clements, Rix, Moore, Miller, Pope
