Crewe Prepare For Friendly Double Header

Two Alex sides will set out for Quorn and Biddulph Victoria tonight as pre-season preparations gather pace. Steve Holland will be taking a to Quorn whilst assistant manager Neil Baker will oversee a second side at Biddulph.

The trip to Quorn, which has almost become pre-season tradition in the past 4 or 5 years, will see the likes of new signing Calvin Zola and trialist Eddie Johnson. Nicky Maynard was due to partner Calvin Zola but a 'shin injury' has forced the striker out of tonight's game.

Jake Buxton, a centre back on trial, is also due a run out at Quorn as Holland weighs up his options ahead of the opening game of the new season on August 9th.

The game at Quorn will kick off at 7:30pm tonight with ticket prices at £6 for adults and £4 for concessions.

The Biddulph Vics game kicks off at 7:45pm. Tickets are priced at £5 for adults and £2.50 for concessions.
