Cooper Rejects Railwaymen

Shaun Cooper has become the next player in a very long line to reject the Railwaymen.

The Bournemouth midfielder has signed a new 2 year deal with the Cherries on his return from holiday.

Cooper was due to travel to Crewe yesterday to complete the deal with the Alex but had a sudden change of heart and cancelled the meeting with the club.

The 24 year old has played over 100 games for Bournemouth and is able to play comfortably in either defence or midfield, positions in great need of cover with first team players Gary Roberts and Danny Woodards moving on over the next few weeks.

This latest set back can only damage the clubs reputation further and frustrate fans as Holland fails to bring in much needed signings for the coming season with recently missing out on Elding, Morison and Mildenhall to name a few.

Crewe are waiting to hear from former Southend keeper Steve Collis by the end of the week about a possible move to fill the vacant number 1 shirt at Gresty Road.

surely some day someone will sign for us! Is it all just about money these days or has the reputation of the club dropped notably since Dario 'stepped back'?

Is your wage structure so tight, or is it some other reason everyone seems to turn you down at the moment.

Is this a lack of ambition or just a player who is guaranteed first team football.
