Zola To Arrive Within A Fortnight

Calvin Zola should become a Crewe Alexandra player within the next two weeks according to Dario Gradi. It's the first time this summer the club have publicly recognised Tranmere Rovers's Calvin Zola as 'number one target'.

Zola has already agreed terms with the club after Crewe agreed a small fee with Tranmere Rovers earlier last month. The deal now rests on a work permit application, which Dario expects to be wrapped up within the next couple of weeks.

Dario told the club's official website crewealex.net:'Our number one target is Calvin Zola and that has always been the case. We feel he is the big one that will make a difference to us. We hope that will be resolved in the next fortnight when we will be asked to attend a hearing over his work permit application.

'That appears the only stumbling block and we hope it will be resolved in our favour.'

I think calvin Zola would be a very good signing. He's a big strong lad who also has good ball control.
