Vital Crewe today celebrates it's one year anniversary under it's current form. The site has grown beyond recognition in the past 12 months and continues to grow with every passing day.

The lack of football on a Saturday doesn't stop this site breaking the news and uncovering the latest rumours, and it doesn't stop you taking part on the Vital Crewe Message Board. There's still plenty to talk about, such as why no-one wants to join the club at the moment!

The site has been built on the foundation of the fans' real views, uncensored and with 100% passion, and it's not going to change. It'll continue to be the platform to get your point across about the club, whether on the Message Board or through an article ( crewe@vitalfootball.co.uk ).

If 08-09 is as successful for Vital Crewe as 07-08 was then this is definitely the place you want to be.

Striker Marcus Haber put them in front on the half-hour when a corner wasn't properly cleared and Brad Inman doubled their lead just prior to half-time.

Ian Henderson earlier headed wide for the visitors but Haber made no mistake when turning in at the other end after George Cooper's corner was missed.

However, it needed goalkeeper Ben Garratt to respond as Peter Vincenti sought an equalise
