Barnsley At Home In The Carling Cup

Crewe Alexandra are drawn at home to Barnsley in the Carling Cup First Round.

It means a first return to Gresty Road for former Alex centre back Stephen Foster, who is sure to get a good reception.

Last year the team went out 3-0 to Hull City in the First Round after a dreadful performance at Gresty Road.

The game against Barnsley will take place the week commencing Monday August 11th.
