Youngster Set For Quakers

Released youngster Junior Brown is set to join League Two Darlington on a two year deal.

Brown was a minor surprise on the released list this summer with many feeling he may have had another season to break into the first team. After playing a few prominent pre-season games in 2007, it looked like Brown was on his way to first team duties. However, the academy product only managed one Johnstone's Paint Trophy appearance during the season and the chop was made in May by manager Steve Holland.

The 19 year old has since had a trial at high-spending Darlington and is believed to have been offered a two year deal with the League Two club.
