'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Tommo Signs Up For One

Stuart Tomlinson has penned a new 12 month deal today but still faces another six months out injured.

Tommo is currently the only keeper to commit himself to the Alex for next season, with Ben Williams departing this summer and Owain Fon Williams looking like following him.

Tommo has seemingly forever been on the fringes of the first team behind Ben Williams. The 23 year old has made 17 appearances for Crewe since coming through the academy system but despite the chances has failed to secure the number one spot for long periods.

Last season he went out on loan to Burton Albion at his own request but after just one game he picked up a knee injury that will keep him out of action till November at the earliest.
