'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Your Mission, Should You Choose To Accept It

Steve Holland says it's up to one of four keepers to take up the challenge of being the Alex number one next season.

Holland is still hoping to change the minds of Ben Williams and Owain Fon Williams, both of whom have rejected/stalled on contract offers recently. He's offered both the number one spot for next season but revealed it's whoever takes the opportunity first who will take the spot.

However, Holland has upped the stakes by offering it to two 'outside goalkeepers' as well. One is thought to be Gretna's Greg Fleming, who is reported to be on the verge of sealing a deal after talking to Holland last week.

Holland told the official site, crewealex.net, that the first to accept the challenge gets it; 'With Owain also delaying his decision we have offered the position to another outside goalkeeper and have targeted another just in case as well. Basically, the first goalkeeper to accept the challenge will start the season as our number one choice.'
