Crewe Alexandra's rookie keeper Owain fon Williams has been expectedly called up to the Wales Under-21 squad to face their England counterparts.
Brian Flynn's young Welsh side will face England U-21s in friendly on May 15th. Wales are currently on the verge of qualifying for the Under-21 European Championships that take place next year.
Williams has been almost ever present for the Welsh Under-21 squad during the qualifying games despite still never having managed at first team game at Gresty Road. With his contract up this summer, and him linked to various Premiership clubs, Fon will be keen to impress.
Flynn however has named a strong side, one that include's Wolves' first choice Wayne Hennessey. Also in the side are Simon Church and former Alex target, and Saturday's opponent, Sam Vokes of Bournemouth.
