Dario Watches Woolford

Dario Gradi took a trip to watch York City winger Martyn Woolford on Saturday. Free from his first team duties, Dario has been out scouting recently as the Alex look to strengthen for next season.

Woolford is one of many targets the Technical Director is keeping a close eye on but this is not the first time Woolford has been watched by the Alex. The winger is thought to be a long term target and with 13 goals from the wing for the Blue Square Premier side he may have shown enough for the Alex to splash out this summer.

Unfortunately Dario didn't see one of Woolford's better games as York fell to a 2-3 home defeat to Woking.

The 22 year old has risen from the depths of the new non-league having started out at Glasshoughton in the Northern Counties league. He went on to Frickley Athletic before joining York two years ago.
